I just can’t believe that it’s been one whole month since I had my surgery.
I had my appointment with my surgeon today and we are both thrilled with my progress so far. In this video, I share with you the issues that we discussed and her reassurance that everything will resolve (Note to self: patience is a virtue). But honestly, I have to say that my surgeon is truly exceptional. Her attention to detail is incredible and I am so blessed to have had her do my surgery. I mean really, when you think about it, does my facelift look fake? I think it looks natural!
When you’re going to have something like this done, or anything else that will have an impact on your life, you want to make sure that you do your due diligence because you are placing yourself into the hands of someone else who ultimately has the power to affect your future in a positive way – or not. So, as with any surgery that I’ve had done (I’ve also had Lasik), I have done my research in advance. I think I mentioned before that my surgery was initially expected to take 3 hours, but she ended up taking 5.5 hours. And really, I would much rather have a surgeon take their time and be completely thorough and detailed with their work than to rush through it to make a deadline.
So, what’s next? Well, my next appointment is a couple of months away. But, I will check in periodically just to keep you apprised of my progress. So come along for the ride and continue on this journey with me!
