Wow, I take a look at myself in the mirror and it’s hard to believe that I underwent 5.5 hours of surgery on my face just 14 days ago!
The swelling and bruising have really gone down and I’m feeling much more like normal…whatever normal is for me, right?!? LOL
Today was the first day that I could go without the “jaw bra” for the day. Admittedly, I did wear it until about 10:30am today, but I’m thrilled to be able to let my head breathe a bit! And, as a wonderful bonus, the weather here is absolutely gorgeous today, so I gathered up my cat, Tana, put him in his pet stroller (AKA his limo) and we took a nice walk. It felt really good to be outside and get some fresh air, too. So, now we’re back home, Tana is upstairs sleeping and I am sitting on my deck just relaxing and enjoying the weather. Life sure is good!
